100% agree for, most assuredly, the corporate world will spit out the "just showing up types" within a few months. Might as well start training them in b school what the real world is like.
I would hope so too, but… Yet what worries me most is the erosion of the standard itself: a distinction can take decades to build its value, but only a few careless decisions to empty it of meaning.
